Barry O'Dea-Varsity Head Coach


Kareem Captan-Assistant Coach
Kareem enter his third season with Corona Del Mar as the Varsity Assistant coach and sixth year of high school coaching.  

Kareem played water polo at Long Beach State and graduated in 2004. 


Bill Leach-Assistant Coach
The CDM graduate was all CIF in water polo and swimming is starting his 3rd year with the high school team.  Bill also coached CDM Junior Polo.

Bill was an All American water polo/swimming at the Univeristy of California at Irvine, played for the USA National water polo team and is a member of the UCI Sports Hall of Fame.
Garth Bergeson-Assistant Coach
Garth is in his third season with the CDM polo program as an assistant coach with the Freshman/Sophomore teams.  A graduate of Corona Del Mar High School, Garth played water polo  for Coach Clint Hooper.
 
The UCLA graduate helped lead the Bruins to NCAA titles in 1971 and 1972. 


Matt Bischel-Assistant Coach
This is Matt's first year coaching with CDM.  Matt graduated from Brea Olinda HS and played for Coach O'Dea, where Matt was an all CIF player.  

Matt continued his playing water polo at University of California at Santa Cruz, where he graduated in 2009.
